Technical characteristics:

  1. Rock crystal and grain quartz are used as raw material for producing fused quartz glass tubes of the following types:
    Designation of fused quartz glass tube type:
    (Г)-gas-flame method
    (Э)-electro-thermal method
    (О)-one stage process
    (Д)-two stages process
    (А)-rock crystal
    (Б)-grain quartz
    (Т)-tube
    (К)-quartz
    ТКГДА — fused quartz glass tube with diameter of 5-300 mm. It may be applied for ultra pure substances, reagent, appliances of special destination, light resources, electric devices.
    ТКГДБ, ТКГОБ, ТКГОА — fused quartz glass tubes with diameter of 5-300 mm. They can be used for light resources, electronic devices.
    ТКЭОА, ТКЭОБ — fused quartz glass tubes with diameter of 5-40 mm. These tubes can be applied for light resources, electronic devices.
    ТК — fused quartz glass tube with diameter of 5-40 mm. It can be applied for producing chemical products and consumer wares.
  2. ТК — fused quartz glass tube. It is produced of transparent quartz glass with non-limited indices on bubbles and inclusions; Technical characteristics should be defined more exactly by the customer’s request if necessary. Other types of fused quartz glass tubes are of higher quality. Quality characteristics are being regulated by ТУ-5932-014-00288679-01. Additional quality properties and unimportant defects of fused quartz
    glass tubes should be discussed with the customer if necessary.
  3. There isn’t to be the trace of crystallization by keeping fused quartz glass tube at temperature of 1000+-20oC during 2 hours with the consequent cooling at the air.
  4. Fused quartz glass tubes are thermally stable. At heating temperature (see below) and with subsequent cooling in water at temperature not more than 25°C fused quartz glass tubes are not to be cracked, cut, broken off after 15 heating shifts
    1000±20оС with wall thickness from 0.6 to 3.0 mm
    800±20оС with wall thickness from 3.0 to 4.0 mm
    600±20оС with wall thickness more than 4.0 mm
  5. Fused quartz glass tube is stable to darkening.
  6. Spectral transmission of fused quartz glass tubes with diameters from 10 to 70 mm is not to be less than:
